Artist's Comments
The newspaper often asks me to come back with what they call an "enterprise" photo, which is also known as a feature. These photos have no meaning of purpose other than to look pretty and take up open space in the print layout of the newspaper.
Most staff photographers will come back with a picture of a kid playing in a sprinkler, a dog wearing sunglasses, a pretty sunset or any number of other cliche pretty pictures. I just can't do that shit anymore so I give them features like this. They never run in the paper, but the photo editors like them so I don't get in trouble. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
